The batch jobs perform specific operations on the Salesforce records and external records. You can schedule to run the batch jobs at specific time, or you can run the batch jobs in real-time.

Process changes in large hierarchies
You can use the batch queue to monitor pending batch jobs, running batch jobs, failed batch jobs, and completed batch jobs. The batch queue displays the information about each job, such as the status of the job, the start time, and the end time. You can delete any queued or completed jobs from the batch queue.
You can view statistics for each batch job. Batch statistics report includes information such as the number of records processed during a batch job and the total number of errors.
