Record Types

You can use record types to define different custom settings for the Salesforce standard and custom objects.
For example, you can use record types to define different synchronization settings for customer accounts and partner accounts.
You can use the record types to define the following custom settings for

  • Data Sources

A user can access only the record types that are associated with the user profile.
