Configuring the Match Score Weightings

Configuring the Match Score Weightings

The match score weightings determines the impact a field score has on the total match score.
CC360
calculates a total match score based on the total weighted field scores. The duplicate check batch jobs use the weighted field scores to identify duplicate records.
To configure the match score weightings, edit the matching settings.
  1. Based on the Salesforce environment that you use, perform one of the following tasks:
    • In Salesforce Classic, perform the following tasks:
      1. In the upper-right corner of the page, select your name, and click
        Setup
        .
      2. Under
        App Setup
        , click
        Develop
        Custom Settings
        .
    • In Lightning Experience, perform the following tasks:
      1. Click the quick access menu ( The image shows the quick access menu. 
						), and then click
        Setup
        .
        The
        Setup Home
        page appears.
      2. Under
        PLATFORM TOOLS
        , click
        Custom Code
        Custom Settings
        .
    The
    Custom Settings
    page appears.
  2. Select
    Manage
    for
    Matching Settings
    .
    The
    Custom Setting Matching Settings
    page appears.
  3. Click
    Edit
    for the object settings you want to edit or click
    New
    to create object settings.
  4. On the
    Matching Settings Edit
    page, enter a weighting for each of the weighting fields.
  5. Click
    Save
    .
