Step 4. Configure the Phone Number Validation Service Settings

Step 4. Configure the Phone Number Validation Service Settings

The DaaS job uses the phone validation service settings to validate the phone numbers.
  1. From the
    Setup
    section of the
    CC360 Admin
    tab, click
    Run the Setup Wizard
    .
  2. In the
    Service Setup
    section, click
    Phone Number Validation
    .
    The
    Service : Informatica Phone Number Validation
    page appears.
  3. In the
    Service Information
    section, activate Informatica Phone Verification service.
  4. In the
    Informatica Phone Number Validation Configuration
    section, configure the following subsections:
    Connection and Authentication
    Enter the following parameters:
    • User Id/License Key and Password. Authentication credentials to access the Phone Number Validation service.
    • Phone Validation Version. Version of the DaaS service that you want to use to verify phone numbers.
    • Webservice Endpoint. An endpoint URL to process the Phone Number Validation service. CC360 locates the web service that the endpoints identify in the United States and the European Union. You can select one of the following endpoints:
      • US
      • EU
      Default is US.
    Advanced Settings
    Configure the following parameters:
    • Click to Verify at the Point of Entry. Verifies the phone number at the point of entry.
    • Save to Verify at the Point of Entry. Verifies the phone number when you save.
    You can also add optional parameters, such as Default Country Code. The default country code is +1.
    If you do not add the country code when you enter a phone number, the phone number validation service adds the default country code to the phone number.
  5. Click
    Save
    .
  6. To verify the connectivity to the Phone Number Validation service, click
    Service Information
    Test Connection
    .
    You can test the connection only after you save the settings.
    If the test connection is successful, you can see the number of remaining hits available for the configured license key.
