Role Privileges for a Business Entity View

Role Privileges for a Business Entity View

A business entity view is a subset of nodes in a business entity. To create a business entity view, you create a transformation from the business entity to the business entity view. The business entity view inherits the role privileges from the business entity.
The following table lists the actions that you can perform for a business entity view and the minimum privileges that are required on the nodes in the business entity:

Create a record
All nodes that appear in the view must have the create privilege.
Read a record
When at least one node that appears in the view has the read privilege, then the entire view can be read.
Update a record
When at least one node that appears in the view has the update privilege, then the entire view can be updated.
Delete a record
All nodes that appear in the view must have the delete privilege.
Merge records
All nodes that appear in the view must have the merge privilege.
Unmerge a record
All nodes that appear in the view must have the unmerge privilege.
