Ensure that the user role has permission to the root base object for the business entity and any related resources. In the Provisioning tool, find the root base object and other resources, such as lookup tables. In the
Hub Console
, verify the user role permissions for the root base object and resources.
In the Provisioning tool, click
Business Entity
Modeling
.
From the list, select
Business Entities
.
Select the business entity.
The business entity opens with the root of the tree selected in the tree view panel.
Make a note of the name of the table that appears in the
Base Object
field of the properties panel.

Log in to the
Hub Console

Acquire a write lock.
From the
Security Access Manager
workbench, click
Roles
.
For each user role that requires access to the business entity, ensure that the role has appropriate permissions to base objects and other resources. For a summary of permissions, see
Role Privileges for a Business Entity.
Select a role that requires access to the business entity.
For example, select Data Steward.
In the
Resource Privileges
tab, find the base object with the name that you noted in the Provisioning tool.
For example, look for Party.
Set the permissions for the business entity by selecting the corresponding permissions for the base object.
For example, if you want the Data Steward role to have full access, select all the permissions for the Party base object.

Set the permissions for any related resources, such as child records, lookup tables, and cleanse functions.
