Copying a Business Entity

Copying a Business Entity

After you define a business entity, you can copy the business entity and use it as a template to quickly create a similar business entity.
  1. Click
    Business Entity
    Modeling
    , and then select
    Business Entities
    .
  2. Select the business entity and click
    Copy
    .
    The
    Copy Business Entity
    dialog box appears.
  3. Enter a unique name.
  4. Select the nodes to copy and click
    Save & Publish
    .
    A copy of the business entity is created and the changes are published to the MDM Hub.
  5. To change the business entity, in the tree view panel, edit the fields and child nodes as required.
