Configuring Certified-Mode Address Verification

Configuring Certified-Mode Address Verification

You can configure Informatica Address Verification to verify addresses in certified mode that complies with the postal regulations of a country. Address Verification supports certified-mode address verification for Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand, and the United States. Before you enable the certified mode, you must install the certified (
Cx
) reference address databases and include the unlock codes in the
SetConfig.xml
file.
In
Parameters.xml
, configure the following attributes of the
Process
element:
  1. To enable certified-mode address verification, set the
    Mode
    attribute to CERTIFIED.
  2. To enable the certified mode verification of the United States addresses, set the
    EnrichmentCASS
    attribute to ON .
    The default value is OFF.
  3. To enable the certified mode verification of Canada addresses, set the
    EnrichmentSERP
    attribute to ON .
    The default value is OFF.
  4. To enable the certified mode verification of France addresses, set the
    EnrichmentSNA
    attribute to ON .
    The default value is OFF.
  5. To enable the certified mode verification of Australia addresses, set the
    EnrichmentAMAS
    attribute to ON .
    The default value is OFF.
  6. To enable the certified mode verification of New Zealand addresses, set the
    EnrichmentSendRight
    attribute to ON .
    The default value is OFF.
For best results in the certified mode, set following attributes to the default values:
  • The
    PreferredLanguage
    attribute of the
    Result
    element. The default value is DATABASE.
  • The
    MatchingAlternatives
    attribute of the
    Process
    element. The default value is ALL.
  • The
    MatchingScope
    attribute of the
    Process
    element. The default value is ALL.
  • The
    OptimizationLevel
    attribute of the
    Process
    element. The default value is STANDARD
  • The
    GlobalMaxLength
    attribute of the
    Result
    element.
  • The and
    GlobalCasing
    attribute of the
    Result
    element. The default value is NATIVE.
  • Attributes of the
    AddressElementStandardize
    element.
