Result Formatting Options

Result Formatting Options

You can configure the formatting-related attributes of the
Result
element in
Parameters.xml
to specify the formatting of the validated output. The formatting-related attributes of the
Result
element include
FormatType
,
FormatDelimiter
,
FormatMaxLine
,
GlobalCasing
, and
GlobalMaxLength
.
You can configure the
FormatType
attribute to specify the address elements that you want Informatica Address Verification to include in
FormattedAddressLine
and
AddressComplete
output.
You can configure the
FormatDelimiter
attribute to specify the delimiter that you want Address Verification to use in the output address.
You can configure the
FormatMaxLine
attribute to specify the maximum number of lines that you want Address Verification to include the output. You can specify a number from one through 19. The default is 19.
You can configure the
GlobalCasing
attribute to specify the casing that you want Address Verification to apply for the output. Note that the casing setting at the address element level takes precedence over the global setting. The global setting takes effect only when the address element-level Casing attribute is set to GLOBAL.
You can configure the
GlobalMaxLength
attribute to specify the maximum number of characters that you want in the output string. The address element-level
MaxLength
attribute setting takes precedence over the global setting. The global setting takes effect only when the address element-level
MaxLength
attribute is set to GLOBAL or to a value of zero, 0. The default value for the
GlobalMaxLength
attribute is 1024.
