ISTAT Code

Output port that identifies the administrative regions to which an address in Italy belongs. The port returns a six-digit code that identifies the province and the municipality, or commune, for the address. The first three digits identify the province. The final three digits identify the municipality. The Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) maintains the codes.

To identify the province and the municipality for an address in Italy, select the ISTAT Code port.
