  1. In the
    User Authentication
    section, choose the type of user authentication that you want to use.
    If you select an existing repository, the installer selects the existing authentication method.
    • Choose Informatica domain authentication to manage user credentials in the Informatica domain and synchronize user information with
      B2B Data Exchange
      . Use Informatica domain authentication for production environments. For more information, see Configure Settings for Informatica Domain Authentication.
      If your Informatica domain uses Kerberos authentication, choose the option
      Informatica domain with Kerberos authentication
      .
    • Choose Informatica domain with Kerberos authentication if your Informatica domain uses Kerberos authentication. Use Informatica domain with Kerberos authentication for production environments. For more information, see Configure Settings for Informatica Domain with Kerberos Authentication.
    • Choose
      B2B Data Exchange native authentication
      to manage user credentials locally in
      B2B Data Exchange
      . Use native authentication in development and staging environments. For more information, see Configure Settings for B2B Data Exchange Native Authentication.
