Adding Variables to Custom Informatica Managed File Transfer Projects

You can use pre-configured Informatica Managed File Transfer projects to define communication protocols and file management processes for

MFT endpoints. If you choose to create a custom project, ensure that you include the following variables.

For an MFT Hosted Receive endpoint that runs a custom project, the source directory is specified with a variable starting with

InputFile

. For example, you could include the variable

${InputFile_DXData}

in the custom project to pass the source directory path to

B2B Data Exchange

For an MFT Hosted Send endpoint that runs a custom project, the destination file is specified with the variable

${OutputFile_DXData}

in the project.
