Validate a Script

Validate a Script

When you create a Script, you can validate the Script before you run it. When you validate a Script, the Developer tool checks if there are any failures that could prevent a component from processing data in the expected way.
To validate a Script, in the Developer tool
Outline
view, select the Script, then right-click and select
Validate
. If there are any errors, the
Validation Log
view appears and displays errors or warnings about failures that the validation processor discovered.
If you double-click an error in the
Validation Log
view, the relevant line in the Script is highlighted in the IntelliScript editor.
