Configuring the Data Archive Source Connection

Configure the Data Archive source connection before you

purge

events from the database.

For information about creating source connections, see the

Data Archive Administrator Guide

Click

Administration

New Source Connection

Enter the database-specific connection properties.

Set the application version of the connection to

Data Integration Hub 10.5.0

Set the property

Source / Staging Attachment Location

to the root path for the production document store.

The path is the same as the path defined for the

Data Integration Hub

system property

dx.system.document.store.folder

If the connection is to an SQL Server database, select the option

Compile ILM Functions

The location specified in the

Source / Staging Attachment Location

property must be accessible to the Data Archive purge process.
