Step 2. Define Installation Settings

Step 2. Define Installation Settings

  1. On the
    Installation Directory
    page, enter the absolute path to the installation directory or accept the default directory.
    You must select the same installation directory where you installed the previous
    Data Integration Hub
    version.
  2. Click
    Next
    .
    The
    Installation Components
    page appears.
  3. Select the components to install:
    Data Integration Hub
    Installs the core
    Data Integration Hub
    application.
    Selected by default.
    Data Integration Hub
    Dashboard and Reports
    Installs the
    Data Integration Hub
    Dashboard and Reports component.
    Select this component to view the reports in the Dashboard using operational data store.
    You must install
    Data Integration Hub
    to install the Dashboard and Reports component.
    Cleared by default.
    • The Dashboard using metadata directory is installed by default. Select this component to view the reports in the Dashboard using operational data store. After installation, you must ensure to set the
      dx.dashboard.ods.page.show
      system property to
      true
      to view the reports in the Dashboard using operational data store. For more information, see the

    • If you install the Dashboard and Reports component, you must import the operational data store event loader after you install
      Data Integration Hub
      .
    • If you install the Dashboard and Reports component, your
      Data Integration Hub
      and operational data store repositories are installed on Microsoft SQL Servers, and you use PowerCenter version 10, you must configure the repository connections in PowerCenter Workflow Manager. For details, see Configuring Repository Connections on PowerCenter Version 10.
    Data Integration Hub
    PowerCenter server plug-in
    Installs the
    Data Integration Hub
    plug-in for the PowerCenter services. After the installation, you register the plug-in to the PowerCenter repository.
    Selected by default.
    Data Integration Hub
    PowerCenter client plug-in
    Installs the
    Data Integration Hub
    plug-in for the PowerCenter Client. Install this component on every machine that runs the PowerCenter Client.
    Selected by default.
    Data Integration Hub
    Informatica Data Quality
    Enables
    Data Integration Hub
    to use Data Quality mappings for custom publications and subscriptions.
    Select this component if you want to create custom publications and subscriptions that use Data Quality mappings in
    Data Integration Hub
    .
    Cleared by default.
  4. Click

    Select the PowerCenter version.
  5. Select the PowerCenter version for which to install
    Data Integration Hub

    Next
