Managing Permissions

Managing Permissions

When you manage permissions, you can perform the following tasks:
  • Maintain the object user list.
    The user list for an object is the list of users or groups that have permission on the object. You can add and remove users and groups from the list.
  • Assign permissions.
    Assign permissions on objects to users, groups, and all others in the repository. You can assign read, write, and execute permissions.
  • Change the object owner.
    Change the object owner to any user in the object user list.
