Data Map Records and Fields

Data Map Records and Fields

A data map includes records and fields that you define or import from a copybook to describe the layout of a source or target. The fields can include user-defined fields and fields that are defined as arrays.
The term
record
refers to both records and segments.
In the relational view of a data map, the table columns are based on the fields defined in data map records.
