Command Line Overrides

Command Line Overrides

To specify the location of the DBMOVER configuration file and the PowerExchange license key file from the command line, use the config and license command line arguments.
Enter the config and license arguments at the command line as follows:
  • config. Enter the full path to the DBMOVER configuration file. For example:
    dtlui.exe config=C:\pwx\dbmover1.cfg
  • license. Enter the full path to the license key file. For example:
    dtlui.exe license=C:\pwx\license1.key
You can specify both arguments together. For example:
dtlui.exe config=C:\pwx\dbmover1.cfg license=C:\pwx\license1.key
You can also include the config and license arguments in the
Target
property of the Windows shortcut tab for starting the PowerExchange Navigator. For more information, see Defining Command Line Overrides in the Target Property.
The
Current Configuration
tab of the
Resource Configuration
dialog box displays the paths and file names of the DBMOVER configuration file and PowerExchange license key file. When the Navigator uses the command line overrides, after each path and file name the following string appears:
[Command Line]
.
