DMX_DIR Statement

DMX_DIR Statement

The DMX_DIR statement specifies the location in which PowerExchange stores data maps.

For the
directory
value, enter one of the following types of values, depending on your operating system:
  • For an IBM i (i5/OS) system, enter the name of the library for data maps. Maximum length is 10 characters.
    The default value is STDATAMAPS.
  • For a Linux, UNIX, or Windows system, enter the path and name of the directory that contains data maps. Maximum length is 512 characters.
    The default value on Linux and UNIX is ./datamaps, and the default value on Windows is .\datamaps.
    For a Windows network path, use three leading backslashes (\\\) so that PowerExchange can parse the network path correctly.
  • For a z/OS system, enter the name of the DD statement in the JCL that points to the DATAMAPS data set. Maximum length is eight characters.
    The default value is DATAMAP.
