LU00FILE Statement

LU00FILE Statement

The LU00FILE statement specifies the partitioned data set extended (PDSE) that you allocated to hold database description (DBD) output from the IMS Catalog Library Builder Utility, DFS3LU00. This statement is required to retrieve DBD information in source format from the IMS catalog for use in creating data maps.
PowerExchange can transparently use the DFS3LU00 utility to extract DBDs in source format from the IMS catalog, write the DBD information to a pre-allocated PDSE, and transmit the DBD information from the PDSE to the PowerExchange Navigator when you create data maps for source objects.
