To install JDK, download JDK from either of the following locations:
  • Verify that the
    JAVA_HOME
environment variable is set to the JDK root directory.
For example, the value for the
    JAVA_HOME
    environment variable is:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\JDK1.7_21
    .
  • Verify that the
    Path
environment variable contains the path to the JDK
    bin
    directory.
For example, the value for the
    Path
    environment variable is:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\JDK1.7_21\bin
    .
  • If the machine that hosts the ILM Engine is not connected to the internet, perform the following steps:
    1. From the ILM installation folder, extract the
      Visualization.zip
      file.
    2. Open the
      WEB-INF
      folder.
    3. Open the
      web.xml
      file in edit mode.
    4. Delete the following line from the
      web.xml
      file:
      <!DOCTYPE web-app PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.3//EN" "http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-app_2_3.dtd">
    5. Save the
      web.xml
      file.
    6. Compress the contents of the
      Visualization
      folder and save as
      Visualization.zip
      in the ILM installation folder.
      The
      Visualization.zip
      file replaces the original
      Visualization.zip
file in the ILM installation folder.
