Processes

The
Processes
page shows a list of process instances that are running or have been run in the organization, along with the process version. States can be Running, Suspended, Completed, Compensatable (for a subprocess), or Faulted.
Use the Search feature to quickly find an active process instance. If you enter a Process ID, you see the process instance.
The following table shows the different process states:
Process State
Meaning
Compensatable
A sub-process is complete and eligible for compensation.
Completed
Normal completions.
Faulted
Processes completed with a fault.
Running
Normally running processes.
Suspended
A process suspended for any reason.
You can select a group of running, suspended, faulted, or completed processes and take some action on them.
On the
Processes
page, you can perform the following tasks:
  1. View a list of processes that you want to work with. You can use selection filters to create a customized list.
  2. Select some or all processes displayed on the current page.
You can select up to the maximum records displayed for each page. You cannot select processes on subsequent pages. You can set the number of records that you want to view for each page.
  3. From the
    Action
    list,
perform one of the following actions
    :
    • Terminate: Terminates running processes.
    • Suspend: Suspends running processes.
    • Resume: Resumes suspended processes.
When you resume a process, Application Integration takes a few seconds to resume the process and display the updated process status. If you check the process status while the process is being resumed, the process status is displayed as
      Suspended
. You can ignore this status. After the process is resumed and starts running, the process status is refreshed.
    • Restart: Restarts completed, faulted, or suspended processes. For more information, see Process Restart.
    • Delete: Deletes faulted or completed processes.
    • Retry: Retries a suspended faulting process. When you retry a process, the process resumes and retries the faulting activity.
If you retry a process and then immediately restart it, the following error occurs:
The required logs are not available for the process instance <Instance ID> for the Tenant Context <Org ID>
Wait until the retry action completes before restarting the process.
