Publication mapping

Publication mapping

For publications that trigger a
Data Integration
 task, mapping is the data mapping between the publishing source and the
Cloud Integration Hub
 publication repository.
A publication runs a
Data Integration
 task that reads from the source and publishes to the topic tables. Task targets must include at least one of the topic tables, and must not include any target table that is not defined in the topic.
You create the task in
Data Integration
 and then select it when you create the publication in
Cloud Integration Hub
.
Cloud Integration Hub
 uses an
Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
 REST API to trigger the task, and the
Cloud Integration Hub
 cloud connector writes the published data to
Cloud Integration Hub
.
