Built-in Target Service Types

Built-in Target Service Types

Use built-in target service types to write data to a data store or to stream data to Informatica RulePoint and Informatica PowerCenter.
EDS
includes the client libraries that a target service requires to write data to the targets, with the exception of the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) client libraries. You install the HDFS distribution that you want and set an environment variable that
EDS
can use to find the client libraries for the HDFS distribution.
EDS includes the following target service types:
  • Amazon S3
  • Cassandra
  • File
  • HDFS
  • HTTP(S)
  • EventHub
  • JMS
  • Kafka
  • Kinesis
  • PowerCenter
  • RulePoint
  • Ultra Messaging
  • WebSocket(S)
