Monitoring Data Flows

Monitoring Data Flows

You can monitor deployed data flows in the
Data Flow Monitor
pane of the
Monitoring
tab. You can view details of the associated
EDS
entities and drill down to specific information for each.
You can view the states of the source services an target services associated with a data flow. Click a data flow in the
Data Flows
pane, to view it in the
Data Flow Monitor
pane.
The state of a data flow is the aggregate of the states of the entities in the data flow. A data flow is active if the associated source services and target services are active. When you click an entity in the
Data Flow Monitor
pane, the
Data Flows
pane displays the entities associated with the data flow and the state of the data flow.
The following table describes the data flow states and colors that represent the state:
State
Color in the Data Flows pane
State Description
Active
Green
Indicates that all entities in the data flow are active.
Inactive
Red
Indicates that at least one entity in the data flow is inactive.
