Event Processor

Event Processor

When you select an event processor on the dashboard, you can view the deployed objects for the event processor in the contents panel.
The following table describes the displayed configurations for an event processor:

Activity and Status Panel
Rules
Displays the following information:
  • Name of the rule
  • Project name
  • State of the rule
  • Number of activations for the selected time line
Displays the following activity and status for each source:
  • Under
    State
    :
    • Name of the rule
    • Started or stopped status, and errors, if any.
    • Date and time when the rule was last modified.
  • Under
    Aggregate Count
    :
    • Number of activations
    • Number of evaluations
  • A graph on the right displays the number of events for the set time line.
  • You can administer the following functions for rules:
    • Purge the rule metrics
    • Start the rule
    • Stop the rule
    • View the trace report
    • Enable rule tracing
    • Disable rule tracing
Responses
Displays the following information:
  • Name of the response
  • Type of response
  • Project name
  • Number of alerts
Displays the activity and status for each response:
  • Under
    State
    :
    • Name of the response
    • The deployed date and time
    • Deployment state of the response
  • Under
    Aggregate Count
    , displays the number of alerts.
  • You can use the view the response function for the following details:
    • Response sent by the responder
    • Responder type
    • Time stamp

    • Purge the response metrics
    • View the responses
Analytics
Displays the following information:
  • Name of the analytic
  • Analytic type
  • Project name
  • Number of invocations
Displays the activity and status for each topic:
  • Under

    • Name of the analytic
    • The deployed date and time
    • Deployment state of the analytic.
  • You can administer the following functions for analytics:
    • Purge the analytics metrics
    • View the analytics
Topics
Displays the following information:
  • Name of the topic
  • Project name
