Responder Controller

Responder Controller

When you select a responder controller on the left pane of the dashboard, the
Responders
and
Responses
views in the right pane display the deployed responders and responses in that responder controller.
The following table describes the displayed configurations for a responder controller:
Object Type
Contents Panel
Activity and Status Panel
Responders
Displays the following information:
  • Name of the responder
  • Responder type
  • Project name
  • Responder state
  • Number of alerts for each responder type
Displays the following activity and status for each source:
  • Under
    State
    :
    • Name of the responder
    • Started or stopped status, and errors, if any
    • The date and time when the responder was last modified
  • Under
    Aggregate Count
    :
    • Average throughput of events per second
    • Average latency in seconds.
    • Maximum latency in seconds.
  • A graph on the right displays the number of alerts for the set time line.
  • You can also administer the following functions for responders:
    • Purge the responder metrics
    • Start the responder
    • Stop the responder
Responses
Displays the following information:
  • Name of the response
  • Type of response
  • Project name
  • Number of alerts
Displays the activity and status for each response:
  • Under
    State
    :
    • Name of the response
    • The deployed date
    • Deployment state of the response
  • Under
    Aggregate Count
    , displays the number of alerts.
  • You can also administer the following functions for responders:
    • Purge the response metrics
    • View the responses
  • You can view the following response details:
    • Response sent by the responder
    • Responder type
    • Time stamp
    • Response details
