Oracle connection

Oracle connection

To access an Oracle source object, you need to create an Oracle connection to the source object. Make sure that you have the Oracle license to access the source object.
Configure the following Oracle connection properties to create and run a data profiling task on an Oracle source object:

Runtime Environment
Choose the active Secure Agent.
User Name
Enter the user name of the database login.
Password
Enter the password of the database login.
Host
Enter the name of the machine that hosts the database server.
Port
Enter the network port number used to connect to the database server. Default is 1521.
Service Name
Enter the service name or System ID (SID) that uniquely identifies the Oracle database.
Schema
Enter the schema name. If you do not specify a schema, Data Profiling uses the default schema.
Code Page
Choose
UTF-8
