View exported profile results in the file

When you export the profile results, the profile results are exported to a Microsoft Excel file. The service saves the file in the ".xlsx" format.
The following table describes the information that appears in each worksheet in the export file:
Worksheet
Description
Column Profile
Summary of profile results appears in this worksheet where the results for columns and rules appear in collapsible panes.
You can view the following results in the worksheet:
  • Profile name
  • Filter name
  • Sampling policy
  • Column name and its statistics appear in separate rows.
  • Rule and its statistics appear in separate rows.
Values
Contains values in a column with the value frequency, percentage, and maximum length.
This worksheet appears when you choose the
Value Frequency
option in the
Export Profile Results to a File
dialog box.
Statistics
Contains the following statistics for each column:
  • Maximum Length
  • Minimum Length
  • Bottom (5)
  • Top (5)
This worksheet appears when you choose the
Statistics
option in the
Export Profile Results to a File
dialog box.
Patterns
Contains inferred patterns and their frequency and percentage for each column.
This worksheet appears when you choose the
Patterns
option in the
Export Profile Results to a File
dialog box.
Data Types
Contains inferred data types and their frequency and percentage for each column.
This worksheet appears when you choose the
Data Types
option in the
Export Profile Results to a File
dialog box.
Properties
Contains the following profile and profile run properties:
  • Profile name
  • Type
  • Description
  • Location
  • Link to profile
  • Source object
  • Row count
  • Filter name
  • Filter condition
  • Created by
  • Last Modified on
  • Date and time when the last profile was run
