Renaming Source Qualifiers to Shortcut Sources

Renaming Source Qualifiers to Shortcut Sources

By default, shortcuts are named after their original object, Shortcut_To_
ObjectName
. If you create a shortcut to a source and you have enabled the Mapping Designer option to create source qualifiers, the Mapping Designer creates a source qualifier based on the source name. If you do not change the name of the source shortcut, the resulting source qualifier is named SQ/ESQ/NRM_Shortcut_To_
SourceName
. Despite the name, however, the source qualifier is not a shortcut.
If names of source qualifiers created for shortcut sources cause confusion, you might want to rename those source qualifiers.
