DB2_ERRORFILE Statement

DB2_ERRORFILE Statement

The DB2_ERRORFILE statement specifies the name of the user-customized SQL error file that PowerExchange uses for Db2 bulk data movement operations.

file
 value, enter the name of the file or member that contains the SQL error codes that you want PowerExchange to treat as either recoverable or fatal.
The type of value depends on the operating system on which Db2 runs:
  • For an IBM i (i5/OS) system, specify the library and file name, and optionally a member name. Enclose the file and member names in double quotation marks (“).
  • For a z/OS system, specify the fully qualified sequential file name or PDS name and member name. Enclose the file or member name in double quotation marks (“).
  • For a Linux, UNIX, and Windows system, specify the path and file name. To specify a Windows network path, use three leading backslashes (\\\) so that PowerExchange can parse the network path correctly.
PowerExchange provides a sample error file or member for each type of Db2 data source, as shown in the following table:
