Logging in to Business Glossary

Use the Business Glossary URL to log in to the Business Glossary interface. When you log in to Business Glossary, you must specify the user name, password, and the native domain or the LDAP security domain.

Start a Microsoft Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browser.

In the Address field, enter the URL for the Analyst tool:

http[s]://<host name>:<port number>/analyst/

If the domain uses LDAP or native authentication, enter your user name and password on the login page.

Select

Native

or the name of a specific security domain.

The Security Domain field appears when the Informatica domain uses LDAP or Kerberos authentication. If you do not know the security domain that your user account belongs to, contact the Informatica domain administrator.

Click

The Business Glossary page opens on the

Start

workspace.

Optionally, if you installed Business Glossary Desktop, click
