The Time Cards With Pending Notifications rule verifies the value of the summary field to validate time cards. The status of the summary field must be set to Submitted and the workflow notification message name set to either TIMECARD_APPROVAL_INLINE or TIMECARD_APPROVAL before you can archive or purge a timecard.
