Perform the following steps to create the plan and run the workflow:
Create a plan. Enter a plan name and description.
Add data masking rules and policies to the plan.
Add data subset entities, groups, and templates.
Add data generation entities and tables to the plan. When you enter data generation components, you cannot enter data masking or data subset components.
Switch masking rules off or on.
Optionally, change the criteria of data subset components.
Configure plan settings including the plan properties, error and recovery strategies, and advanced settings.
To store data in the test data warehouse, select the test data warehouse as the target connection.
To copy flat file results to a test tool that you have integrated with TDM, configure the test tool properties in the plan.
Optionally, configure an override strategy for a data source or a table.
Optional. If the plan contains parameters, download a parameter file to review parameters used in the plan and the parameter values. You can use global parameters and project parameters in a plan. The parameter file includes all parameters that you use in a plan.
Generate a workflow. You can choose to generate and run a workflow in a single step.
If the plan contains parameters, choose the parameters and parameter values to use when you run the workflow.
