Prerequisites

Before you configure JWT authentication in API Manager, you must perform the following prerequisite tasks in Informatica Cloud Application Integration:

Create a process and enable HTTP/SOAP binding for the process.

Configure basic authentication for the process by defining the user groups and users who can access the process service URL at run time.

You can configure JSON web token authentication for a managed API only if the associated process uses basic authentication in Informatica Cloud Application Integration. You cannot configure JWT authentication if the associated process allows anonymous access.

Publish the process to expose it as a service.
