Graphic and Text Views

Graphic and Text Views

The HM window is divided into two basic sections, known as views: the Text view and the Graphic view.

The following graphic shows the location of the graphic and text views:

Graphic and Text views consist of the following components:

Component	Description	Graphic	Text
Overview window	Displays a telescoped view of all of the data in the graphic view. Used to navigate to the precise data of interest. Data navigated in this way displays in the graphic view window. Click the layout button to change the way that entities are displayed in the Graphic view.	R	-
Entity/Relations Objects window	Displays details of individual entity and relationship objects shown in the graphic view.	R	-
Toolbars	Displays a collection of quick start buttons that enable you to provide quick access to HM functions.	R	R
Window	Displays a detailed view (either graphic or textual) of entities and relationships.	R	R
Entity window	Displays information about the entity that was last dragged to the Entities panel in the Text view.		R
Relationship window	Displays information about the relationships between the entities that appear in the Entity windows in the Text view.		R
