Release assigned tasks to the pool of available tasks so other users can work on the tasks. For example, you might want to release tasks that you cannot complete before the due date. If you are a task administrator, you might want to release all tasks assigned to an user on vacation.
Click
Task Manager

The task panel contains a list of tasks.
To release your tasks, click
My Assigned Tasks
.
The task panel lists all your assigned tasks.
To release all assigned tasks, click
All Assigned Tasks
.
The task panel lists all assigned tasks.
Optionally, to find tasks to manage, use custom filters or search.
Click the
Filters
icon, and then add filters.
In the search box, enter a search term, and then click the search icon.
Select the check box beside the tasks that you want to manage.
The
Selected
list appears.
From the
Selected
list, select
Release
.
The
Release
dialog box appears.
Optionally, add a comment.
Click
Claim
.
The task panel updates. The tasks appear in the
Available Tasks
tab for users who are potential owners of the tasks. Those users can claim and work on the tasks.
