Setting up Microsoft Azure

Before you create an
advanced configuration
in your organization, set up your cloud environment so that the Secure Agent can create an
advanced cluster
.
Complete the following tasks:
  1. Verify requirements for your environment.
  2. Create storage accounts for cluster files.
  3. Optionally, create the VNet and subnets.
  4. Download and install a Secure Agent on a Linux virtual machine on the Azure cloud.
  5. Allow specific domains in Azure.
  6. Optionally, configure a proxy for the cluster.
  7. Create a managed identity for the Secure Agent.
  8. Create a service principal for the cluster.
  9. Optionally, create a managed identity to access sources and targets.
  10. Optionally, create user defined security groups.
  11. Optionally, configure the JAVA_HOME environment variable.
  12. Optionally, create a staging connection.
