Verify the Installation

Verify the Installation

After you install Proactive Monitoring you can verify the installation. Log in to the RulePoint Console and verify that the services are running.
  1. Open a web browser.
  2. In the
    Address
     field, enter the RulePoint URL
    https://<host name>:<port number>/rulepoint
    .
    The port number is the port of the tomcat server. Default is 8080. The
    RulePoint
     login page appears.
  3. Enter the user name and password.
    You can use the default username and password, Administrator/Administrator1.
  4. Click
    Login
    .
    The RulePoint Console opens.
  5. Click the
    Dashboard
     on the navigator pane.
  6. Verify that the services are running.
    The status of the source controllers, event processors, and the responder controllers displays a green icon for successful running of services.
