Attributes

Attributes

An XML attribute is always a single-occurrence data holder. An attribute cannot be multiple-occurrence because XML does not permit the same attribute to appear more than once in the same element.
An attribute can have a data type that is a space-separated list. The
names
attribute in the following element is an example:
<Countries names=”USA Canada Mexico”/>
The Script treats the attribute as a single-occurrence data holder with a list type. For more information, see Using Data Types to Narrow the Search Criteria.
