High Availability Requirements

To enable the archive processes to work correctly and smoothly, the server cluster must have redundant hardware and software and must meet specific requirements.

Configure the server cluster so that it meets the following requirements:

The server cluster must have a virtual IP address for the clients to connect to. This virtual IP address redirects to the primary node or to the failover node if the primary node is down.

The primary node and failover node must have identical file systems and directory structures.

The primary node and failover node must have access to the directories set up for the Data Vault in shared storage.
