Web Client Mode

Web Client Mode

This section describes how to configure the Siebel Call Center Application to connect on the combined schema in the Siebel Instance.
Before you configure the Web Client mode, you must configure the Seamless Access Layer using the Archive UI. For more information about how to configure, see

Log in the Administrator - Server Configuration.
To start the Siebel configuration, launch the Internet Explorer and go to the following URL:
http://Servername/callcenter_enu
When the login screen appears, login as the SADMIN user.
As SADMIN, you can configure the Object Manager and the Server DataSource profile configuration.
Click the Site Map icon to see all applications links.
After you click the SITE MAP icon, the following screen appears:
Click Administration - Server Configuration to get the list of Siebel configuration screens.
Click the Enterprises link to open the server configuration screen.
The following figure shows where you can configure the respective Object Manager and the ServerData source profile:
In the component parameters section of the Object Manager, update the parameter values. The following table shows the parameters to update:

On the Profile Configuration tab, change the profile parameters for "Server Datasource profile":

Reconfigure the Siebel Server after specifying the values for profile parameters. Click the Menu Button in the Component Definitions tab.
In this menu, click Start Reconfiguration menu item. Click the menu button again and then click 'Commit Reconfiguration' as shown in the following figure:
Restart the Siebel Server.
Click Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Services to launch the Services windows application.
Right-click Siebel Server and then click Restart.
