Data Archive Seamless Data Access Job

Data Archive Seamless Data Access Job

The Data Archive Seamless Data Access job will create the two schemas, and populate them with the appropriate synonyms and views.
To create the Seamless Data Access job:
  1. Click Jobs > Schedule a job.
  2. Select Standalone Programs and click Add Item.
  3. Select SEAMLESS_DATA_ACCESS from the list.
Available fields to be specified are discussed in the following table:
Field
Description
Source Repository
Database with Production data.
Destination Repository
Database with archived data.
Combined Schema Name (and Password)
Schema name for Seamless access across the two Databases.
Query Schema Name (and Password)
Schema for allowing access to archived data.
Combined/Query Schema Location
Specify whether Schemas were created at the Data Source or Data Destination.
Combined/Query Schema Location
Database link name from Data Source to Data Destination
