ILM Engine utilizes the Quartz scheduler as the default scheduler. If your organization uses a third-party scheduler, you can continue to use the third-party schedule while maintaining all of the scheduling functionality that Data Archive provides. Data Archive provides the following scheduling functionality:

Schedule a job.
You can integrate different schedulers and use user-defined schedulers while executing jobs in Data Archive. You must be allowed to specify a scheduler in Data Archive.
Terminate a schedule.
You can terminate a repeating schedule.
Terminate a job.
You can terminate a job based on the provided scheduler.
Resume a job.
The scheduler can resume a specific job from the last commit point.
