Data Archive includes the Quartz scheduler. Quartz is an open source enterprise job scheduler. You can replace Quartz with a scheduler that you use in your organization.

When you replace the Quartz scheduler with a third-party scheduler, you can view detailed information in the third-party scheduler UI. Also, job definitions and schedules that you create in Data Archive are immediately applied to the third-party scheduler database. As a result, scheduling teams might have less control over scheduling.
