Abstract

One of the main features of the Data Archive product is the Candidate Generation functionality. Candidate Generation identifies the transactions that can be archived and purged. Additionally, it identifies the transactions that are ineligible for purge. Candidate Generation uses business rules to determine if a transaction can or cannot be archived and purged.

This document explains the different ways to build business rules to meet your business requirements to archive and purge your older, inactive transactional data.
