Restoring to an Empty Database or Database Archive

Verify that a target connection exists and that you have access to the connection.

If you restore to an empty database, you must first export the metadata associated with the records to be restored and run the metadata DDL on the database.

In the Data Discovery Portal, search for the records that you want to restore.

Export the metadata associated with the records.

Run the metadata DDL on the target database.

Run the transaction or cycle restore job from the Data Vault to the target database.
