If your organization uses Metadata Command Center and you select a catalog source object with columns that are classified as sensitive, CLAIRE recommends a Data Masking transformation to hide the sensitive data.
Before CLAIRE can recommend Data Masking transformations, create the data classifications and define the level of sensitivity in Metadata Command Center. Data classifications can have low, medium, or high sensitivity. Medium or high sensitivity mean that the column contains sensitive information.
Then, configure the classifications with a catalog source and run a data classification job to associate the data elements in the source with the data classifications.
When you select the catalog source as your source object in the mapping, CLAIRE recommends a Data Masking transformation if one or more columns in the source object have medium or high sensitivity.
