Example 1: Open MQ Session

Example 1: Open MQ Session

Follow the steps below to add an Open MQ Session Task to a Project for establishing a connection with an MQ server:
  1. From within the Project Designer page, navigate to the
    Application
    MQ
     folder in the Component Library, and then drag the Open MQ Session task to the Project Outline.
  2. On the Basic tab of the Open MQ Session task, specify values for the following attributes:
    MQ Server
    Select an MQ server resource from the drop-down list or click the
    Create
     button to create an MQ server resource.
    Session ID
    This is the variable used by other MQ related tasks to refer to the open MQ session.
  3. Click the
    Save
     button when finished.
