List Element Attributes

List Element Attributes

The List element defines a complex variable containing a list of values.
The following table describes the properties of the List element:
Property
Description
Append
A Boolean attribute that determines what happens if the list has the same name as an existing list. If enabled, the new values are added to the existing list. If disabled, the existing list is deleted and a new list is created. The default value is enabled.
Function
Optional. An XPath expression that is evaluated relative to each of the selected nodes. The value of the expression is added to the list.
Name
Mandatory. The name of the list. Use this name to reference the List in XPath expressions of elements nested within the parent Rule.
Rule Description
A read-only description of the Rule that the element is nested under.
Select
Mandatory. An XPath expression that selects nodes for calculating the items in the list.
